Victorian Leaders has a nationally recognised Advisory Board, consisting of leading Australian executive and non-executive directors to
assist in developing the ongoing strategic direction of the Victorian Leaders network.

John became the Australian Cricket Team coach in 1999 and led the team to a World Record of sixteen straight Test match wins and an unbeaten
record of 24 one day international victories in two successful World Cups. His record of victories makes John the most successful coach in
history with a winning record of over 75% since 1999.
Apart from sport John has worked with Boards, CEO's, senior company leadership teams, coal-face teams and with organisations of different
size and industry. He has a real appreciation that each situation is unique; however the messages and methodologies of High Performing Teams
and his ability to `coach` them is universal.
John has proved extremely popular in the corporate sector with his unique but successful skills as a trainer and motivator. John is also an
author of three books and is an active Patron for REDKITE which is a not-for-profit charity supporting families whose children are suffering
Simon is an accomplished and diverse senior executive with national and international experience gained in the UK/Europe, USA and Middle
East. His career expertise focuses on leadership of complex organisations, governing bodies, industry associations and business
consultancies, and working with or on Governance and Advisory Boards, Committees and Commissions within Sport, Health, Start-ups and Social
Gravitating naturally to leadership roles, he has been able to enjoy what he does and to surround himself with smart, good people. He
continues this theme with involvement in organisations he finds motivating and which, create real value.
Simon is a recent Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Approved Advisor of the Advisory Board Centre.
Bryan has considerable experience both working in and growing enterprises across a broad range of industry sectors, including residential
aged care, manufacturing, property development and investment and business services.
Bryan worked in and was a Partner of Melbourne accounting firm, Rees Partners, from 1977 until 2000.
From its commencement in the early 1990s and until 2014 Bryan was the Chairman of Regis (Executive Chairman until 2008). As Chairman, he
oversaw the management and growth of the company. Bryan was also the National President of the former aged care industry body, The Aged Care
Association of Australia, from 2004 to 2012, during which time he was actively involved in the development of the industry and shaping its
Jeff is an independent and practical educator and advisor with over 40 years of expertise and experience in economics, finance and public
policy assisting a wide range of stakeholders to manage the opportunities and risks in this amazing world.
Following a decade at the Reserve Bank up until the early 90s, he worked at NAB until Feb 2009 including some time as CEO of the Australian
Over the past decade, Jeff has continued to do some consulting under the banner of his single shingle think tank – Economics & Beyond –
including a bi-annual report on the financial wellbeing of Australian households for me Bank.He is a Honorary Fellow at the Business and
Applied Finance Centre of Macquarie University and teaches masters students about the economic and financial underpinnings of financial
markets and the global financial system.
Jeff is a director of Giles Wade - an independent financial advisory -focused on private clients and families and also a member of the
Giles Wade investment committee and is also a director of BASS Care - a not for profit provider of aged care services to the Boroondara
community for over 60 years
Vivienne is a highly motivated leader with extensive executive level experience developing and delivering on strategy, building high level
relationships in commercial and academic environments, a proven track record of financial and people management, an ability to represent an
organisation to diverse stakeholders and excellent communication skills reflecting respect, confidence, and drive.
Prior to taking on the CEO role at Victorian Leaders, Robert spent 27 years working in the Banking & Finance Industry with some of
Australia's largest Banks.
Robert held senior leadership positions in Corporate and Commercial Banking in Victoria and Queensland and most recently had National
Executive responsibility for Industry Specialisation focussing on the Health Industry at Westpac.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business (Finance) and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Nerrida is an experienced HR professional with extensive generalist and specialist corporate experience, known for her integrity,
insights, her business brain and being a calming influence during stressful transformations.She has held senior positions
at number of Banks. She loves working with people and is a passionate believer in the power of quality HR to help people progress and
Nerrida states that her greatest satisfaction comes from seeing a businesses thrive, leaders becoming their best selves, and teams being
motivated to succeed and even managing to have some fun along the way!
Dr Evan Shellshear
An innovation specialist and a serial entrepreneur. Whether it's companies, apps or books, he gets a buzz out of watching ideas come to
fruition. He left Australia in 2005 to get a PhD in Game Theory from the Nobel prize winning Bielefeld University. After that he lived in
Sweden for 6 years building and selling software products to the world's largest automotive companies before returning to Australia and
becoming heavily involved in the startup scene founding, confounding or helping build up to 9 startups. He recently launched his
best-selling book Innovation Tools and is currently an advisor to some of Australia's most exciting technology startups as well as a mentor
