As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, I bring a strong commitment to governance, strategic clarity, and socially responsible decision-making. With more than 30 years of experience across marketing, business development, and SME advisory, I offer a broad and practical skill set shaped by multinational agency roles, business ownership, and long-term consulting engagements.  

I combine a strong social conscience with a collaborative, outcomes-focused approach, supported by a clear understanding of governance and compliance frameworks. This blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and operational discipline enables me to contribute effectively in both advisory and board environments.

My work includes delivering meaningful results for NFP sporting clubs, schools, Kidsafe, and St Jack’s Meals, as well as founding Pop Up Sister—a platform that connects and elevates women in retail through community-driven events.

I am passionate about contributing to organisations where purpose, creativity, and strong governance come together to create lasting impact.

With over three decades of experience in bid management and strategic communications, I am a thought leader in the tender and proposal industry. I have contributed to major contract wins across construction, defence, resources, infrastructure, healthcare, telecommunications, and facilities management throughout Australia and beyond.

As a senior bid team leader and strategist, I have led multidisciplinary teams to successful outcomes for organisations including the University of Sydney, Melbourne Airport, and various government and defence departments. I have also implemented innovative knowledge management systems and developed best-practice bid processes that have transformed how organisations approach tender responses.

Currently, I serve as Bid Catalyst and AI Catalyst at Aurora Marketing, Australia’s leading tendering and bid strategy consultancy. I provide strategic guidance on harnessing AI to enhance proposal development while preserving the human elements that drive success. I am a deadline-driven professional who is passionate about mentoring emerging bid professionals and shaping industry standards through leadership and continuous improvement.

With more than two decades of experience across business operations, sales leadership and entrepreneurship, Taryn Holman brings a uniquely diverse commercial perspective to advisory and leadership roles.  

Taryn spent 16 years building and operating a successful debt collection agency with an incorporated law firm, gaining firsthand experience in every aspect of business growth, leadership, client management and operational performance. The role provided deep insight into what drives businesses to succeed and where many fall short.nce and inspiration.

She later transitioned into the role of National Sales Manager at Seamless SMSF, where she has played a pivotal role in the company’s rapid organic growth, helping scale the business from a small operation to now an eight-figure market leader.

Alongside her corporate career, Taryn is also the Co-Founder of Pure Little Hearts, where she works as a qualified results coach supporting burnt-out Mothers to become more emotionally regulated and create healthier family dynamics.

Her ability to combine commercial acumen with emotional intelligence gives her a well-rounded and highly practical approach to leadership, strategy and people

James initially worked in investment banking and private equity for several years assisting private companies access new opportunities, capital and exit strategies. He also founded Enterprise Angels, one of the first cloud based business angel networks in Australia. In 2006 he founded Queensland Leaders, a platform based business initiative to work with leading private companies to assist them become national and international market leaders.  

After the success in Queensland, he established the Leaders business platform across Australia, New Zealand and the UK through the International Leaders business. James studied accounting at QUT and then completed an MBA with Bond University. His focus for the last 25 years has been to assist private business owners achieve their best through access to expertise, experience and inspiration.

Warren is an Exit & Growth Strategist establishing Otter & Associates in 2007 to assist companies by developing and implementing accelerated growth strategies, largely via Strategic Acquisitions of appropriate businesses. As an experienced and qualified business owner and a detailed background in manufacturing, Warren brings real experience and understanding to business to ensure growth.  

He is also the Founder and CEO of Business Owners Association of Australia. Established in 2019, the BOAA improved the lives of private business owners thru education, support and networking

Currently leading an industry-focused fund and several AI-driven projects, Pawel helps industries and professionals drive innovation, engage, and make smarter decisions across both established and emerging markets.

Scott Thomson

Scott is an ex-Googler who served as Head of Innovation for Customer Engineering. He worked at Google from 2015 to 2024 across Ads Data Platforms, Analytics, and Google Cloud, covering the AU/NZ and APAC regions.

Before joining Google, Scott worked with Adobe across APAC on digital strategy and transformation. He also held roles at Telstra and Sensis, focusing on digital transformation, and served as CTO of an Australian startup specialising in personalised mobile video advertising.

Scott is passionate about working with and supporting startups across Australia and New Zealand.
